Here’s a clear breakdown of what to expect from an iS Clinical Prodigy Peel treatment, whether you're receiving the P2 (light to moderate) or P3 (moderate to deeper) version:

Before the Treatment

A skin consultation will be done to assess your skin type, goals, and any contraindications (e.g. pregnancy, active eczema, recent sunburn).
You may be advised to stop using retinoids, exfoliants, or acids 3–5 days before the peel.
The skin will be thoroughly cleansed and prepped to ensure even application.

During the Treatment

The peel is applied in layers; you may feel mild to moderate tingling or heat, which is normal.
The formula is self-neutralising, so no post-neutralising step is needed.
The whole process usually takes 45 minutes.

Sensations during the peel may include:

Warmth or tingling
Tightness
Light stinging (more with P3 than P2)
A soothing mask or calming serum may be applied afterward, followed by SPF.

Immediately After

1–2 Weeks Before Your Peel

Introduce or Maintain Gentle Skincare

Use a gentle cleanser and moisturiser to keep your skin calm and hydrated
If recommended by your practitioner, start using pre-peel products such as:
Mild acids (like glycolic or lactic acid)
Brightening agents (like azelaic acid or vitamin C)
Pigment suppressors (especially for melasma-prone skin)

Avoid:

Strong actives like retinol, tretinoin, or high-strength AHAs/BHAs unless advised
