As we age, natural changes can occur within the lips and surrounding tissues. Changes in skin quality, tissue volume and structural support may influence the appearance and definition of the lips and perioral area.

Changes in the definition of the lip border and Cupid’s bow
Changes in skin texture and hydration
Changes in the relationship between the lips and surrounding facial structures

These anatomical changes vary considerably between individuals and are influenced by factors including age, genetics, anatomy and lifestyle.

At About Face Medical Aesthetics, we take an individualised approach to facial aesthetic care. Your consultation provides an opportunity to discuss your concerns, medical history, facial anatomy and treatment goals.

Following consultation and clinical assessment, your practitioner will discuss the treatment options that may be appropriate for you, including the potential benefits, limitations and relevant considerations.

Not every treatment is suitable for every person. Treatment recommendations are determined on an individual basis following clinical assessment.

Individual responses to treatment vary. Treatment suitability and expected outcomes can only be discussed following appropriate consultation and clinical assessment.

Booking Policy

No cancellations or changes allowed within 24 hours of the appointment.
For all appointments, a $50 deposit is taken at the time of booking, which is redeemable on the day of your appointment for treatments and product purchases.
Because we value your time (and ours), you will be sent an SMS 48 hours before your appointment for confirmation. To be fair to our clients, we will further attempt to call, and or text you the day before your appointment is scheduled.
If you don't respond to confirm your scheduled appointment, you cancel, reschedule, or not show to an appointment inside 24 hours of your appointment, your $50 deposit will be deemed non-redeemable and non-refundable.
If you have purchased a skin treatment package(s), and you don’t show to an appointment, we reserve the right to forfeit one skin treatment from your package. We reserve the right to reallocate your appointment to waitlisted clients.

Every treatment plan at About Face begins with an individual consultation and clinical assessment. Treatment options and associated fees are discussed with you following assessment, based on what your practitioner considers appropriate for your individual circumstances.
