Biostimulator "S"
Biostimulator “S” is a prescription-only collagen-stimulating injectable treatment which may gradually restore volume, improve skin structure, and soften lines and wrinkles.
Biostimulator “S” works by encouraging your body’s natural collagen production, possibly creating results that appear subtly and progressively over time.
This treatment uses poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible and biodegradable substance that has been used in medicine for decades. Once placed within the skin, Biostimulator “S” can stimulate collagen growth, helping to improve skin firmness, elasticity, and overall facial structure. Results will vary from person to person.
Prior to your appointment, a face-to-face consultation is required to discuss suitability, expected outcomes and potential risks, with one of our highly trained nursing staff. Results vary between individuals, and all medical procedures carry risks, which will be discussed in detail before treatment.
Am I suitable for Biostimulator "S"?
Biostimulators are ideal for anyone who is concerned about preventing or treating the common signs of ageing. Being a loss of skin elasticity and sagging due to loss of underlying support.
Biostimulators do not replace wrinkle control injections or volume restoration treatments, more so work in conjunction with these treatments to enhance skin's appearance, quality and texture.
Ideal for those looking for natural-looking results and improving the skin's quality, tone and texture. The benefit is that the total face can be treated within the single treatment, providing maximum skin enhancement and support.
Areas that cannot be treated with this biostimulator are around the eyes and mouth. Other treatment modalities are available for these areas.
What’s involved with Biostimulator "S"?
To ensure maximum comfort and to minimise potential bruising, a small amount of local anaesthetic is injected into each entry point and a cannular is used to deliver the biostimulator to the desired areas to be treated.
This method of application is gentle and promotes the minimal chance of bruising, as a cannula has a blunt end that pushes vessels out of the way, unlike a sharp needle.
Skin quality remodels and develops over time, for continual visual and textural changes and improvement.
Two treatments are required for moderate facial/skin ageing, spaced 6-8 weeks apart. Results may last up to 2 years and “top up” treatments as required.
What it costs
