Avoid active skincare products: Discontinue retinoids, prescription vitamin A, AHAs, BHAs, exfoliating acids, and benzoyl peroxide for 3–5 days prior to your appointment, unless otherwise advised by your therapist.

No excessive sun exposure: Avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, and fake tan for at least 7 days before treatment. Your skin should not be sunburnt or overly sensitised.

Keep skin hydrated: Well-hydrated skin responds better to treatment. Increase water intake and use a gentle, hydrating moisturiser in the days leading up to your appointment.

Avoid other advanced treatments: Do not have injectables, chemical peels, microneedling, or other laser treatments for 2 weeks prior unless cleared by your therapist.

Inform your therapist: Let your therapist know about any changes in medications, recent skin reactions, or active breakouts so your treatment can be safely tailored to you.
